What our clients say

  • Just to say my son Hector Hurley and nephew Theo Black had the most brilliant day with you at the football day on Thursday in Ross and came back elated with their medals and trophy. Thank you so much

  • Jamie and his colleagues have worked wonders with Imogen for the past 18 months! Their dedication and passion for teaching girls the skills they need, has really payed off for Imogen and I am very grateful for all their hard work and dedication.

  • I was able to watch Jamie teaching a variety of different lessons predominantly focusing on teamwork and skill building. The children really enjoyed the sessions! After a few weeks, I was able to take my own session with the support from Jamie and implement the things he had modelled to me. I really love that the skills and teaching ideas Jamie showed me are transferable to other areas of sport and I am now feeling much more confident in teaching not only football, but other team games too. This would be a superb course for NQTs and newer teachers as-well as experienced teachers who wish to revive their PE teaching.

    Emily Field – Credenhill Primary
  • Jamie has been teaching in our school for two years. He is totally dedicated to developing and encouraging physical activity in all children and he has taught very successfully from Reception through to Year 6. His coaching sessions not only enhance the children’s football skills but they are designed to develop confidence, leadership and teamwork. He is passionate about developing teachers confidence when teaching football and actively encourages them to work and learn alongside him. Jamie is a fantastic coach; he makes learning fun, competitive but supportive, the children respect and can’t wait for ‘PE with Jamie’. He is a real asset to the development and love of physical education that we are all trying to instil in our curriculum and we couldn’t recommend him highly enough.

    Kim Jones – Assistant Headteacher, St Mary’s C of E Primary School.Credenhill
  • I have known Jamie for almost a decade in both a professional and personal capacity. In that time I have been impressed by his humility, dedication and willingness to embrace new ideas in an attempt to stay at the forefront of player and coach development. Jamie has been an integral part of the development of the FA Skills Programme and of late the England DNA where his knowledge and insights into young player development were invaluable. On a personal level he is one of the nicest people I know. He is humble, kind and considerate and these qualities help him to build relationships quickly and easily. This is important when trying to influence and develop others. Punctuality, honesty and respect are important to him and he lives and breaths these qualities when working with others and I would have no hesitation in supporting Jamie on either a personal of professional level.

P.T.Sturgess – National Lead Coach Foundation Phase, The Football Association
  • The coaching provided to our Y5/6 children was quite simply of the highest quality. The coaches identified the strengths and individual needs of the children and planned sessions that were suited to their needs. Importantly, they also worked alongside me as the class teacher to develop my understanding of best coaching practice and spent time ensuring I understood the rationale behind the carefully planned sessions. Following the coaching block, I was then left with the session plans which enabled me to confidently deliver the high-quality content to other groups of children. Participation in the programme has therefore provided a legacy of improved learning opportunities for a growing number of students at our school. I would highly recommend participation to any school / teacher who is looking to combine high quality CPD with improved outcomes for children.

Sarah Desborough – Class Teacher, Shobdon School.
  • The quality of coaching and instruction is first rate, Jamie is professional and always has the best interests of the children at the core of his work. It is clear to see that every coaching session is carefully planned so that all participants can engage and enjoy the activities. My sons have improved dramatically in all areas of the game and have grown in confidence so that they are able to perform at an increasingly high standard in their club football. It is not only the physical, technical and decision making elements of the game in which they have benefited, but also the social aspect. My sons are more confident and comfortable mixing with new people and this is definitely thanks to the way Jamie manages the group. I could not recommend the sessions more strongly and I consider myself very lucky to have such a fantastically dedicated, experienced and professional coach around to support my sons’ development.

    Mark Desborough – Parent
  • We have had Jamie Pitman coaching in our school to a variety of age ranges for several years. We have always been happy with his coaching, which offers stimulating and enjoyable activities for young children. The coaching is to a very high standard with progression in all year groups. Jamie is friendly and always teaches in a supportive and positive way. The children respond really well to his teaching and it is clear to see, lessons are well planned and evaluated. Thank you for all your help.

Emma Reddock – Sports Coordinator, Credenhill School
  • All of the teachers and children got involved because the coach was professional yet approachable so that we could all learn. We learnt many new activities that we could adapt and use across the curriculum. All of the children were very enthused each week because the coach ensured all of the children felt success whatever their ability. This was a definite highlight for myself as a year 6 teacher with a huge range of ability and a varying mixture of previous experience, however all children were challenged and thoroughly enjoyed the wide variety of activities. The professional development was excellent and we were given time to discuss and reflect on our practice.

Sharon Thomas – Year 6 Teacher, Weobley Primary School
